As per Victoria University’s’ Work Integrated
Learning Policy we ask that the placement you provide is supported and
students opportunities for autonomy, as appropriate to current level of
achievement or scope of practice.
(b) Allow students to take
responsibility for the consequences of acting on that autonomy.
(c) Provide access to
activities that have meaningful outcomes for the student, partner,
clients or for others in a practice setting.
(d) Involve students’ in a
variety of differing activities, reflective of the full range of tasks
and the diversity of circumstances for the conduct of these.

ensure that the position is one that contributes to the learning and
professional development of the student at all times.
