Welcome to the Optical Technology Research Laboratory (OTRL). The OTRL is a research laboratory that carries out a range of projects funded by government grants and private industry. The OTRL exists within the Faculty of Science, Engineering and Technology at Victoria University. Postgraduate research degrees have been offered for over 10 years and currently there are 6 PhD, Masters and Hons.  students currently undertaking research in the OTRL. The OTRL operates within the Telecommunications Strategic Research Area, one of a number of Strategic Research Areas of the University. It is well equipped with advanced optical and photonic facilities.
