Who it is for: |
The course is for overseas qualified: doctors, nurses, dentists,
pharmacists, dieticians, podiatrists, physiotherapists, radiographers,
occupational therapists, optometrists, speech therapists or
veterinarians who already have an advanced level of English.
(It will
also be of benefit if you have already passed the OET but want to
improve your general medical communication.) |

Your teacher
has many years experience teaching the OET preparation course and he
will provide individual instruction for speaking and writing tasks as
well as providing individual feedback for reading and listening. |

Mode of Study: |
Flexible Mode, Off-campus delivery. This means that: |

on enrolment, you will be allocated a computer password, which will
enable you to study this module via computer, on-line |
|
|
you will have the opportunity to submit tasks to
your teacher on-line, and receive feedback on-line |
|
|
you
can study using your computer at home, or else come to any
Victoria
University campus
to use public access computers |
|
|
if you wish you can arrange with your teacher to see him at the
university. |

Prerequisites: |
This course is for overseas-qualified Health Professionals who already
have a high knowledge of English and are able to work independently by
accessing computer-based materials. |

To apply for the course you need to
submit a Victoria University application form, which is available from
the VU website at:
