Step 3: Organise your ideas
- Write the introduction to your literature review by telling
the reader where your work fits within the context of the field.
[how to write an introduction]
- From your mind-map notes choose an appropriate number of
general headings (this could be divided by date - if you are ordering it chronologically -
or by issues) that answer the topic, and cover most of your thoughts. These will become
the topics of the paragraphs in the body of the literature review.
[how to organoise your ideas]
- Group and rewrite your points under this smaller number of
general headings.
