Writing a Letter of Request

STEP 8: Edit the first draft

Editing means reading over your draft and making corrections and changes where necessary. It will help make your letter look and sound persuasive.

Re-read, check and edit.

Check to make sure the letter is persuasive, by imagining you are the reader and asking yourself, 'How would I feel if I got this letter?'

Ask someone else to read and comment.

See a Concurrent Assistance teacher if you are not completely happy with the result, or if you just want some feedback. (CAS timetables)

Use this feedback to carefully complete the final copy!!
