VUER is located in the School of Sport and Exercise Science within the Faculty of Arts, Education & Human Development at Victoria University. VUER conducts its research through the Centre for Ageing, Rehabilitation, Exercise & Sport (CARES)

Victoria University Exercise Rehabilitation (VUER) provides services for people who want to exercise and are living with, or are at risk of, chronic disease, injuries or disabilities. We aim to improve people's function, health and quality of life through exercise and physical activity. VUER works with and for clients to restore function (rehabilitation), improve function (conditioning for work, recreation or activities of daily living), or prevent new occurrence, relapse or further progression of a condition (prevention).

VUER is active in three main areas (see menu at left): Courses, Research and Service (consultancy).

Graduates from VUER are obtaining employment in hospitals, clinics, industry (occupational rehab), community health, professional sporting clubs,  and as case managers for WorkCover insurers. Others go into private practice under Medicare and other compensable schemes.
