Dr. Jean Searle
Director
Dr Jean Searle is one of the co-directors of the Qld
Centre of ALNARC. She is a Lecturer in the School of Vocational, Technology and Arts
Education, Faculty of Education, Griffith University with particular interests in
workplace language and literacy, the history of literacy, and literacy and technology in
flexible delivery. She has recently completed a PhD examining a history of adult literacy
in Queensland between 1970 and 1995.
