Integrating literacy and numeracy in training packages

A major focus of each ALNARC annual workplan was an investigation of the integration of literacy and numeracy provision within Training Package delivery in the wider vocational education and training system in Australia. These projects were designed to rack various innovative and ordinary strategies of delivery across industries as diverse as horticulture, food, construction and health training. The projects themselves provide interesting insights into on the ground training with particularly emphasis on literacy and numeracy integration into training. At the same time they document provision at a time of great upheaval and change as Training Packages were systematically introduced to the Australian VET system.
