Research Projects 2000
In 2000, ALNARC centres again undertook research in line with two large, national projects. The first of these (Project #1) was to further investigate the implementation of training packages in relation to the inclusion of literacy and numeracy in industry standards and industry training programs. The second national project (Project #2) was entitled ‘Multiliteracies and Life Transitions’. Click here to find out more about these projects.

1999 Project # 1 Reports
Between July and November 1999, each of the six state centres of ALNARC conducted collaborative research projects in order to examine 'the effects of the inclusion of literacy and numeracy in industry standards in Training Packages on the quality of learning and work outcomes'. 1999 Project #2 Reports
In 1999, the ALNARC centres (based in Victoria, NSW, Tasmania, South Australia, Queensland and Western Australia) were commissioned by DETYA and ANTA to undertake two national research projects. The second of these projects was to investigate effective and responsive literacy and numeracy provision for groups with identified special needs or circumstances. The majority of ALNARC centres undertook this research by facilitating small, practitioner-based research projects. Click here to go to summary reports from these projects.
