Training and Youth Affairs, (DETYA), Alice Springs Office, who supply the
overall funding for SWIRL
IBM Australia, who generously
supply all the necessary technology to make new and exciting things possible
Victoria University of Technology,
who have supplied vehicles (Toyota Troup Carrier, and a 22 seater bus),
staff and time to make the project successful
Teachers at remote schools in
Central Australia, who have welcomed us with open arms, and given us access
to their classrooms and facilities
and the children and communities
who have invited us to learn with them.
We hope to expand SWIRL to other
remote locations in the near future.
For each new location, we need
approximately $A10,000 funding.
