As a Department we take great pride in our programs
that prepare people for their chosen profession in psychology or psychology-related
areas.
During our recent reaccreditation by the Australian Psychological Society we were flattered by some of the panel's comments about our professional programs. They noted the uniformly positive endorsement of the programs by our current and past students and said that in their experience this was very unusual. Secondly, our programs were highly praised by the external supervisors of students on practical placements. Indeed, several supervisors volunteered that overall our students were better prepared for placement than many students from our competitor universities.
