The CSAA chatroom uses Macromedia Flash 5 which is included in recent versions of both Internet Explorer and Netscape. If you do not have Flash installed, the chat page will not open and you can download the Flash player here.

Chatroom Help

1. When prompted, enter the name you wish to use in the chat
2. In the Menu, select a chatroom (under Room) and background colours (Skins)
   
   
3. To post to the chat, type in the box at the bottom of the screen
4. At any stage in the chat you may save a transcript (Menu > Transcript)
5. To send a private message to another user just click on their name in the users column



6. To leave the chat, click Menu > Exit. Note: It is important that you exit in this way and not by clicking "Back" in your web browser or closing the page. If you do not exit properly you will find that you are not able to log on again using the same name until you have been automatically disconnected (after 4 hours). If this does happen, just log on again with a different name.
